The digital controller was $16 and the needed splitter was $15.

Granted I can't control/synch *everything* in my system together in just one spot (for example include the LEDs built into my DDR RAM), but I can at least get everything else that is controlled via a digital interface cable all on the same page now without having to muck about with the crappy Armory Crate software. (There were more cables to connect than available MB plugs for them anyway). a separate piece of hardware that doesn't need my PC to control it) instead of hooking all digital LED interface cables directly into my motherboard. I elected to just go with a stand alone digital lighting controller module (i.e. I really didn't like the Armory Crate software - its so bloated and has a very crappy interface among many other issues. Just a look though the forums and half the posts are about ammory crate not working.Īll you need is the lighting service running in the backgound and the Ique will intall the plugings for it.The only reason I could see of why someone would want to install something like Armoury Crate is to control LED lighting. Chunked a Core keyboard and spatha mouse that both sucked anywhow and moved over to corsair K100 and Dark core pro mouse that will acttually hold a charge for better than a week using wireleless where the spatha wouldnt make 24 hours.įorget Armory crate.

Install it but don't launch it then reboot and all your corsair products will work fine as well as all the ASUS MOBO short of the addressable headers on the MOBO and crappy keyboards and mice. (last verion before Armory crate come out) But yeah justĭownload and install latest Ique then reboot.Įxit Ique and download and install Aura lighing service 1.07.84 I switched to all corsiar because I got sick and tired of Aura and armory crate not working or borking out without recvoery short of a clean install of the OS. You just need the lighting service running and can control everything but addressable headers and POS ASUS periprals. install the last AURA softwre 1.07.84 but dont launch it. You do have to have the lighting service installed but not running.
